More Than 50 Years of Experience in Contractors Insurance and Risk Management Consulting

The Klein Risk team is comprised of experienced insurance professionals Scott Klein and Nick Pineda.

Scott and Nick began working together over 30 years ago when they grew a nascent business into a national hotel program. They met Tushar in the 1990s and began using his umbrella programs. Today, they have combined their talents at Klein Risk. Their goal is to provide a competitive product for contractors. They know that accessibility is key to providing great service, so they are available 24 hours a day, every day to help you get the answers you need.

J. Scott Klein, CRIS®

Scott Klein has been in the insurance business since the 1970s. After earning a Master of Professional Studies in hotel administration from Cornell University he began his career as a fee-for-service insurance consultant. Following that success, in the early 1990s Scott launched Klein Insurance Services and grew it into one of the most comprehensive hotel specialty insurance programs in the country.

Today, Scott has now obtained his Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist designation, which he uses to help brokers place their contractor client’s insurance through a specialty program underwritten by RLI. His goal is to serve as an ally in navigating challenging marketing conditions and with difficult-to-place risks.

Nicholas Pineda

Nicholas Pineda has been in the insurance business since the 1990s. He began his career working at Klein Insurance Services, where he established an extensive network of retail brokers. He continued working as a Producer for industry leaders such as The NIA Group and A.J. Gallagher & Co and later founded his own specialty insurance brokerage firm.

At Klein Risk, Nick uses his expertise to help Brokers find the best policy for their clients. His mission is to get them the right coverage at the right price.

Tushar Trivedi

Tushar Trivedi began his insurance career in 1994 specializing in Umbrella coverage for two niche segments, hospitality, and community associations. By 1999, he had developed a prototype for RPGs (Risk Purchasing Groups) that was accepted by Zurich Insurance. Building on that success, in 2004, Tushar founded his own company that was recently acquired by Alliant Insurance Services.

At Klein Risk, he uses his unique knowledge of targeted insurance solutions to support a range of independent brokers and agents nationally.
